TYPES OF PHOTO ORGANISERS

When it comes to organizing your photos, there are many different ways to do it. You can use a physical photo album or box or go digital and save your photos on a computer or phone. No matter which method you choose, it is important to have a photo organizer to keep everything neat. The following are some types of photo organizers:

Physical Albums and Boxes

The traditional way to store photos is in a physical album or box. This can be good if you want to keep your photos handy but not have them staring at you on your phone or computer. If you go this route, however, it's important to keep the album organized and label the photos to know what each photo is without looking through them all.

Desktop Organizers

If you choose to save your photos on your home computer, it is good to have a designated folder for all of your wedding memories. It can be overwhelming to look at a complete screen of thumbnails, so make a folder with the event name and save each photo into that specific folder.

It is also important to back up your photos away from your computer! If you cannot get another external hard drive or USB flash drive, some websites offer free storage space for small amounts of data. A digital album is perfect because it will hold any number of pictures while still being easy to and trade with friends and family.

Photo Frames

Photo frames can be a fun way to display and organize wedding photos. Picture frames come in all shapes and sizes, with ornate gold or silver designs, modern white stands, or simple black ones with glass fronts. Whether you choose one frame or an entire wall's worth of pictures hung up next to each other, they make a great addition to any room in the house! Many weddings choose their favorite picture from the day as the focal point of their home decor; sometimes, it is even displayed during the reception so that everyone knows which picture is the bride and groom's favorite.

Scrapbooking Supplies

Another way to physically organize your photos is by using scrapbooking supplies. This typically involves a 12x12 inch square book with decorative paper covers, where you can glue photos and captions onto specific pages. Some people choose to make a themed scrapbook, such as one that documents the wedding planning process, while others include pictures from the day. If you are not crafty but still want to make a scrapbook, many kits come with pre-made pages, stickers, and other embellishments to make your album look beautiful.

Cloud Storage Services

Most people take more pictures with their phones than with a single memory card or camera in this digital age. This leaves you with limited space to save all of your photos, so many people have turned to cloud storage services to store their favorite moments. These websites typically offer free accounts that allow you to upload low-quality versions of your images for easy sharing, but you can upgrade your account for more storage space.

There are many different types of photo organizers on the market. Some are better suited for organizing digital photos, while others work best for printed photos.
